This Christmas, Newmarket Town Council is hosting its first-ever traditional Christmas market on the 14^th December. The picturesque wooden cabins are inspired by Germany’s famous Christmas markets. Visitors can walk along a candlelit path, enjoying a selection of warm food, mulled hot drinks, and browse a variety of locally supplied gifts, all while listening to Christmas songs sung by Newmarket Choir.

The event will see an appearance from Santa Clause himself, who will meet and greet the towns’ children with his magical sleigh and jolly elf to listen to their Christmas wishes. All children welcome to our wheelchair friendly sleigh!

Expect fun for the whole family, with superb entertainment, including an exhilarating fire show choreographed dance, a DJ, and a free carousel ride for all of the children!

Taste of Christmas timetable:

– Photo opportunity with the Santa and his elf: 11.00am to 1.00pm / 2.00pm to 5.00pm

– The dance school T3 will sing and dance for us at 12:00pm

– Divine Fire show: 3:30pm to 4:00pm / 4:30pm to 5:00pm / 5:30pm to 6:00pm

– Candlelit Christmas Carols: 4.00pm to 4.30pm / 5.00pm to 5.30pm
