We are very excited to announce the return of the Winter Wonderland in the Memorial Gardens.

Every year thousands of people visit ice rinks around the country. This year, Newmarket will have its own synthetic ice rink. A stunning outdoor ice rink will be in the heart of the town from Friday 9th December until Sunday 11th December 2022. The attraction will be open to the public from 10.00hrs to 16.00hrs. Ice skates will be provided. Each ice-skating session will last 15 minutes, subject to demand – be prepared to queue! Remember to wrap up warm and please be mindful of other skaters.

But the magic does not stop there. The snow globe is back in the Memorial Gardens on the 10th and 11th December for a photo opportunity with our amazing Santa. Make a wish on the magic snow globe and it will come true!

The Winter Wonderland will be enhanced with indoor and outdoor Christmas markets selling locally sourced food and drink, handcrafted gifts, and a carousel for children.
